What does a Senior Manager, Field Sales do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Responsible for all sales related field functions within a specific geography. Leads The Perfect Outlet vision, manages, directs, and coordinates all activities related to the field sales & merchandising functions. Ensures all personnel are safe, efficient, effective, and committed to winning through a positive work environment. Builds a culture of winning & collaborates with Logistics, Retail Account Management, Finance & HR. Builds effective relationships in the field and at Retailer Outlets & HQ stakeholders. Promotes Company standards and ensures sales promotions are properly executed. Develops and executes sales plans and goals designed to increase sales and profits and minimize operating expenses.

Responsibilities:



  • Continually reinforce & hone the strategy & vision of "The Perfect Outlet", through the use of technology that drives growth & efficiencies within the markets they serve. Utilize Innovation to deliver world class execution in every outlet every day (ie: DAI)
  • Deliver annual SCCU business plan+ for assigned geography (Home Market Channel) while effectively managing all Operating Expenses; Meet or exceed category volume, margin, expenses, EBIT, and market share targets by following Commercial / Channel priorities throughout the territory
  • Significant field work, in outlet coaching, developing & training their directs, monitoring our expectations of the Perfect Outlet. Manage, motivate & mentor direct reports & their sales & merchandising teams while creating a culture that values of winning (growth mind-set), diversity/inclusion & teamwork. Responsible for total directs/frontline associate experience: On-Boarding, Training & Development, Coaching, Promotional / Cross-Training Opportunities
  • Assume total responsibility for establishing & fostering outstanding business relationships with customers, internal/external stakeholders with direct Customer Responsibility Wiring: Sales Retail OPS Customer Leaders. Collaborate across peers, cross-functional groups & other regions to promote best practice sharing to drive system efficiencies. And work together with Logistics counterpart to ensure outstanding Customer Service and Service Level Agreements are met
  • Support and validate company practice, policy, and compliance related to safety. This includes but not limited to OSHA reporting, Safety Committee leadership, training, on boarding etc.
  • Community, governmental efforts to support of 20SD30 Efforts (Boards, Functions, Engagement); Promote & enhance positive image of Company within the communities we serve
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements:



  • High School Diploma (or GED) required
  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree Preferred (Business, Finance, Marketing) preferred
  • 4+ years People leadership responsibility (Leader of Leaders) required
  • 4+ years Beverage, CPG or related DSD experience required
  • 4+ years Field Sales experience required
  • Strong communications and organizational skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively
  • Able to be flexible and adaptable
  • Able to produce effectively in a fast-paced environment
