The Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading and handling a high-performing outside sales team of 4-5 representatives. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, growing market presence, and ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales targets. The Sales Supervisor will coach and develop team members, supervise performance metrics, and implement strategic sales initiatives aligned with company goals.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day supervision, motivation, and support to the outside sales team.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Collaborate with senior leadership to implement sales plans and territory strategies.
  • Prospecting & Business Development: Drive efforts to identify and pursue new customer opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market research.
  • Customer / Prospect Engagement: Support reps in building positive relationships with clients, resolving increased issues, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Performance Management: Supervise individual and team KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Training & Development: Deliver ongoing training and mentorship to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market insights for leadership review.
  • Learning & Adaptability: Foster a culture of curiosity and continuous learning, encouraging team members to understand and effectively communicate technical product details and solutions.
  • Requires 50%-75% travel
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required - STEM field preferred
  • 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Prior people management experience a plus
