Overview
The Field Sales and Patient Education Trainer is responsible for assisting in development, coordinating, delivering and assessing sales and Patient Education training programs, including live classroom sessions, online learning courses, and in-field training for personnel at all levels. This role requires building and maintaining professional rapport with partners and stakeholders to deliver effective training. This role works with training classes of various sizes, up to 50+ attendees.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training sessions to sales and clinical field staff, adapting content to audience needs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and update online training modules and courses for sales and patient education.
- Review training materials regularly, ensuring content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with current policies and procedures.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, testing, and performance metrics, recommending improvements as needed.
- Communicate attendee progress and course completion status to department leaders and managers, offering guidance for further development.
- Send timely communications to training participants and stakeholders regarding sessions, requirements, and event details.
- Coordinate and manage all logistics for training events, including attendee registration, scheduling, and post-session documentation.
- Provide proof of completion and route assessment information to appropriate parties after each training event.
- Support the planning and execution of refinement training and field exercises in partnership with sales managers and trainers.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the overall training program.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Required:
- 3-5 years' experience in a field sales or patient education/clinical role
- 1-2 years' experience training, coaching and/or onboarding new team members
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, Training and Development, or Clinical field
- 2+ years of proven internal sales or patient training experience at Tactile Medical, with a strong
- understanding of products, sales and/or patient training, order management processes, and industry standards
- Strong understanding of Tactile Medical's products, services, and market dynamics
- Familiarity with sales and/or patient training methodologies and techniques that drive results
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) across all levels of the
- organization
- Strong organization and time-management skills
Below is the starting salary range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
$61,500 - $86,205
