Position Summary: The primary function of a Sales Route Driver is to help to generate GTS profit through the sale of focused product categories via a mobile sales unit as directed by management and in compliance with company policies. Duties & Responsibilities: 
     
 Increase sales of tools, fasteners, safety PPE, fire stop and caulking products, masking and floor protectionUnderstand and meet our customer's service expectations and product needsIdentify new sales opportunities and market trends Grow sales in defined product categories per managementMaintain and grow sales with contractors, general contractors, facility and maintenance divisions for hospitals, schools, property management companies, government entities, etc.Meet or exceed sales and gross profit objectivesNegotiates customer pricing within established pricing matrixFollows up on sales or product leadsCommunicate and implement sales programs/promotions directly and effectively to sub-contractors, General Contractors, GTS employees and vendorsGenerate customer loyalty with a high level of customer serviceProvide superior customer service through professional communication and on-time deliveryResolve customer complaints in a timely manner
 Basic Qualifications: 
     
 Must have a valid driver's licenseMust have a clear three-year Motor Vehicle ReportHigh School diploma or GEDBi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred

 Physical Requirements: 
     
 Must be able to remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time.Frequently moves materials weighing up to 80 lbs. while unloading vehicle.Will constantly move from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicle onto job site.Will constantly operate commercial motor vehicle and/or boom vehicle. Will constantly position self to unload materials from flatbed or boom.Must be able to judge distance while delivering materials and/or operating boom.Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.Constantly working in outside environment while making deliveries.
