  Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and tooling changes for production die-setsSupport the design and implementation of tooling changes to accommodate partmodificationsMaintain and manage die-set preventative maintenance (PM) system, including schedulingand updating work instructionsTroubleshoot defects and support the preparation of die check sheets and trial proceduresMaintain die-set spare parts lists, ensuring parts are stocked and readily availableDevelop and implement systems to reduce defects, improve productivity, and minimizedowntimeCollaborate on Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify risks and createcontrol plans for production diesWhat You'll Bring
 
  3+ years of hands-on experience producing structural aluminum diecastings. Apprenticeship certification in Tool & Die or equivalent experienceExperience with high-speed die-sets, including tooling material selection, and knowledge ofCNC die surface machining, welding, and spottingFamiliarity with Lean manufacturing principles (waste elimination, continuousimprovement, Just-in-Time, etc.)Ability to interpret dimensional inspection results (CMM, checking fixture, or visionsystems)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and strong analyticalskillsAbility to work independently and in a team, managing tight deadlines and competingprioritiesMust have command of the English language, both written and verbal Essential Physical Demands
