We're looking for an experienced, relationship-driven Senior Universal Banker III to join our vibrant Scripps Ranch branch. Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Sales
- Provide personalized financial guidance and recommend products tailored to each client's goals.
- Actively cross-sell solutions including checking and savings accounts, CDs, IRAs, and trust services.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships that promote satisfaction and loyalty.
- Support business clients with Treasury Services such as Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), courier services, and armored transport.
- Lead local business development initiatives to expand the branch's visibility and profitability.
Operations & Compliance
- Open and manage consumer and business accounts in full compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Ensure adherence to BSA, AML, and Information Security policies and procedures.
- Oversee large cash transactions, daily reports, and implement fraud prevention strategies.
- Maintain branch-level security and ensure ongoing audit readiness.
- Identify and resolve documentation or procedural discrepancies promptly.
Leadership & Mentoring
- Coach and mentor junior team members in operational accuracy and client service excellence.
- Partner with the Branch Manager to execute marketing initiatives and achieve performance goals.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex client inquiries and transaction issues.
- Model professionalism, accountability, and superior customer care in all interactions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of retail banking experience, including new account opening and teller operations.
- Expertise in both personal and business account management.
- Strong understanding of federal and state banking regulations and security requirements.
- Proven success identifying client needs and delivering tailored financial solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and core banking systems; Notary Public certification preferred.
