Security Officer - Distribution Access Specialist

As a Security Officer - Distribution Access Specialist in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure atmosphere for personnel and assets. By conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Manage access control duties at the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Assist visitors, drivers, and employees by providing directions and information in a courteous manner, maintaining a positive image of Allied Universal.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary according to protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related threats and observe for unusual activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all security-related activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with company standards.
• Liaise with site management and law enforcement as needed during emergency response activities and/or incidents.
• Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for emergency response and security-related situations at the distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
