POSITION SPECIFICS

This position is responsible for the overall digital signage strategy, development of digital signage hardware, software and content, and overall success of the Smeal College of Business's digital signage systems. Individual will collaborate with internal web and multimedia, and strategic communications teams as well as faculty, staff and students, to develop and manage the content creation, scheduling and distribution to our screens utilizing FWICloud, and other software, as applicable. Manage software access privileges to designated users and other distribution staff. Individual will be integrally involved and will serve as lead in existing and future digital signage system projects to include a planned video wall.

Graphic Design Specialists use knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, communications, video, packaging, publications, and informative and instructional material; generate and manipulate graphic images, animations, sound, text, and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia solutions.

  • Design, edit, and integrate digital content, graphics, animation, photography, illustrations, and other multimedia visualization and imaging products

  • Design and develop content style and layout

  • Create presentation and communication templates for promotional, developmental, and administrative needs

  • Comply with accessibility standards, contractual obligations, confidentiality and privacy policies, and style and standard guidelines

A successful candidate will have:

  • 3 or more years' experience in designing visual content using industry-standard software such as Canvas, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, etc. This includes creating motion graphics, animations, and interactive displays.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

This position will be in person; however, eligible to request a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office required.

SALARY & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $56,200.00 - $81,500.00.
