Hospital Assistant 2 PED Specialties Los Gatos Full Time 86446BR Job Summary Under supervision, guided by policies and procedures of the Ambulatory Services, and in collaboration with the Clinical Nursing Staff, the Hospital Assistant II assists in the delivery of care to patients in an ambulatory specialty care pediatric satellite practice setting covering in all Satellite Locations. Locations include but not limited to; Monterey, Fremont, Los Gatos, Stockton, Marin, and Santa Rosa. This job is considered a float job, s/he will be traveling to different sites based on clinical need. Work includes a variety of personal care and nursing procedures including assuring positive care outcomes, documenting patient height/weight, vital signs, blood pressure reads, and EKG testing in UCARE/APEX systems. S/he will perform assigned patient care and laboratory procedures respective to the specialty care services rendered to patients within the practice. S/he is required to adhere to the Telephone and House Standards as adopted by the Medical Center. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $29.63 - $36.99 (Hourly Rate).
