Overview Quonset Point - General Dynamics Electric Boat General Dynamics Electric Boat provides an unparalleled learning experience for college students, offering practical exposure in the defense industry alongside expert engineers, shaping the future of submarine innovation. Facilities Engineering is responsible for all critical systems, utilities, structures, and buildings. We maintain, repair, and improve every corner of the QP Facility. We provide engineering subject matter expertise and consulting for our large capital projects. Our mission is to provide better than world class service and uninterrupted utility feeds to keep our shipbuilders working. As an intern, here are some of the tasks you may be responsible for:
Conducting engineering analyses for infrastructure expansion projects. This could be a single gas feed or a power feed for an entire building.
This program requires a minimum commitment of 8 weeks during the Summer 2026 Season. Participation in this program requires medical screening, passing a drug test, and potential DOD Investigation This is not a remote opportunity. Qualifications To be qualified for this position:
