As the Vice President of Enterprise Applications, you are a key member of the Technology leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise application strategy, driving global delivery capabilities, while ensuring the scalability, reliability, and strategic alignment of technology platforms to business outcomes. In this role you will lead a global team overseeing core enterprise applications and platforms, data services, and architecture, enabling operational excellence and digital transformation across the organization. You will partner closely with executive stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Segment leadership, Operations, and IT to design and deliver integrated, modern technology solutions that support the company's growth and transformation goals.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise applications, data, and architecture in a global environment.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale platform transformation initiatives across CRM, ERP, integration, and data domains.
  • Experience managing global distributed teams and offshore delivery centers.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and their application in modern cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Executive presence and the ability to communicate technology strategy to senior business leaders.
  • Experience in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures in a global company, including the rapid integration of personnel and systems

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to bridge technology strategy and business outcomes.
  • Experienced in organizational design, operational model transformation, and change leadership.
  • Skilled in vendor and stakeholder management with a focus on driving value and accountability.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce, Oracle E-Business Suite, NetSuite, Oracle, Boomi, ServiceNow and related enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Passion for building scalable, modern architectures that enable agility and innovation.

What will you be doing in this role?

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the enterprise application strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's business and technology roadmap.
  • Lead the evolution of the enterprise architecture function, establishing technology standards, roadmaps, and governance practices that guide platform decisions.
  • Drive execution and continue org transformation to product centric model
  • Partner with C-level leadership to drive large-scale transformation initiatives across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Shared Services.

Enterprise Platforms & Data

  • Oversee all core enterprise platforms including CRM (Salesforce), ERP (NetSuite/Oracle EBS), Integration (Boomi), Incentive Compensation (SAP Callidus), ServiceNow and related ecosystem tools.
  • Lead strategy and operations for enterprise data services and integration, ensuring platforms enable end-to-end business processes such as Lead to Cash and Source to Pay.
  • Drive modernization initiatives that increase automation, improve data quality, and enable analytics and insight-driven decision-making.

Organizational Design & Delivery

  • Manage and scale a global organization including U.S.-based product ownership and offshore engineering and operations functions.
  • Drive operational excellence by implementing centralized L1/L2 service delivery models and leveraging Centers of Excellence for development and administration.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team across platform engineering, business systems analysis, operations, and architecture.

Governance & Vendor Management

  • Establish enterprise standards and guardrails for platform selection, integration patterns, and data management.
  • Manage strategic partnerships and negotiations with enterprise software vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure platforms meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements globally.

About the Team

The IT Services organization at Clarivate is a team of experts who provide innovative solutions and support for the company's products and services. The IT Services organization is responsible for:

  • Managing, maintaining and enhancing Clarivate's core ERP, Sales, Customer Support and Service Management applications. This is in partnership with our business stakeholders and partners
  • Providing excellent service and innovative solutions for our business partners in the corporate IT space.
  • Implementing and optimizing Clarivate's internal AI strategy, which leverages the latest tools and technologies to enhance the company's data, insights, and analytics capabilities.
  • Evaluating and improving the data integrity, process efficiency and resource allocation of the IT Services organization, as well as collaborating with other teams across Clarivate.

Hours of Work

  • Full time, permanent position primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
  • Travel to Clarivate office locations - up to 30%
  • Hybrid working model of 2-3 days/week on site in one of our office locations: Overland Park, KS; or Philadelphia, PA
