THOR Solutions is looking for a highly motivated SharePoint Developer to support the management and support of services for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Waterways Commerce Cutter (WCC) Project Resident Office (PRO), located onsite at Bayou La Batre, AL. The selected candidate will support SharePoint development of WCC SharePoint tools, to include WCC production contract deliverable dash boards, workflows, data maintenance, and data organization within the SharePoint environment.

Typical Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint workflows to support CG contract management, production execution, team activities, dashboards for user quick view status, and mature SharePoint sites to streamline document management, repository and search/referencing functions.
  • Research and input/retrieve data in and out of SharePoint as directed to develop/provide metrics as required.
  • Develop, manipulate, and extract reports for data analysis using Power BI functionality of SharePoint software.
  • Management of an electronic database to include organizing and maintaining configuration of a complete electronic set of current and historical program documents in a SharePoint environment to include MSAM required documentation, decision memorandums; modifications; concepts and specifications, including technical issues, and reported; correspondence; scheduling revisions; plans; technical presentations and briefings.
  • Initiate, expedite, and close out process workflows related to document creation, indexing, review, delivery, and approval.
  • Create standardized reports and graphs on workflow status and process metrics required to provide oversight of the WCC production contract.
  • Monitor data management repositories (addition of files, updates, etc.) and forward documentation to relevant USCG staff as directed by the government.
  • Track and support reporting on program documentation to include memoranda, decision documents, IMS analysis, and contract modifications as well as maintain the repository established on the Government provided SharePoint site

Location: Onsite at USCG Shipyard Facility in Bayou La Batre, AL.

Typical Physical Requirements: Mix of desk/computer work in an office environment and periodic visits to waterfront/shipboard environments. May involve: repetitive motion, traversing shipboard environments (e.g., confined spaces, ladders, hatches) or vision.

Eligibility for a SECRET Security Clearance is Required: This position requires eligibility for a Secret security clearance, to be obtained after hire. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance; therefore, only current U.S. citizens will be considered for this position.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • At least four (4) years of relevant experience in infrastructure and web-based development in a SharePoint software environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Power BI.
  • Experience in performance metrics, analysis, and trends; workflow programming and maintenance in SharePoint.
  • Experience in generation of Power BI reports and analysis of raw data.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Professional certification in SharePoint, PowerBI, or similar.
