Universal Banker

Merchants Bank, Hastings, is seeking a Universal Banker.  This position will work at the Hastings branch, however will provide occasional back-up at nearby branches. This full-time position will be 32-40 hours/week.  Hours will vary between 7: 45am-5: 15pm Monday – Friday with a Saturday morning rotation from 8: 45am-12: 15pm.

Duties include serving customers by processing various banking and financial transactions, account inquiries, and opening new deposit account relationships.  You will provide exceptional customer service and proactively offer a range of banking products and services to meet the financial needs of our customers.

Must have strong communication skills, comfortable with extensive customer contact, have sales experience, and a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize.  Customer service and cash handling experience required and banking experience is a plus.
