*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented *Business Analyst* to join our Risk Technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in *SQL*, *data mapping*, *Data modeling* and *data profiling*, with a deep understanding of *credit risk processes*. This role involves working closely with stakeholders across Risk, Data, and Technology teams to ensure data integrity, support risk initiatives, and drive strategic initiatives. *Key Responsibilities:* * Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements related to credit risk data and analytics. * Perform *data mapping* between source systems and target models, ensuring accuracy and completeness. * Conduct *data profiling* to assess data quality, identify anomalies, and support remediation efforts. * Write complex *SQL queries* to extract, analyze, and validate data from various databases. * Work with IT and data engineering teams to define data transformation rules and ensure proper implementation. * Create and maintain documentation including data dictionaries, process flows, and business rules. * Lead or support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for data-related projects. * Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve credit risk strategies. * Support the development and enhancement of credit risk models by providing high-quality data inputs. *Required Qualifications:* * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, preferably in *credit risk*. * Strong proficiency in *SQL* and experience working with large datasets. * Hands-on experience with *data mapping*, *data profiling*, and data quality tools. * *Solid understanding of credit risk concepts, including exposure, PD, LGD, EAD, and risk-weighted assets.* * Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, IFRS 9, or CCAR. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. *Preferred Skills:* * Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). * Knowledge of data governance and metadata management. * Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and big data technologies. * Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $80.00/hr.
