The Project Manager I is responsible for the planning, safety, execution, and financial oversight of low voltage construction projects totaling over $2 million annually. With guidance from Senior Project Managers and a Team Lead, this role ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities * Collaborate with the Team Lead to fully understand project requirements, including contractual, financial, technical, scheduling, materials, personnel, and scope. * Manage profitable low voltage construction projects generating $2M+ in annual revenue. * Coordinate with Operations and Safety teams to ensure proper PPE and safety training. * Lead project kickoff meetings to align stakeholders and ensure readiness. * Procure tools and materials in a timely manner for each project. * Forecast and monitor labor and material costs throughout the project lifecycle. * Expedite invoicing to optimize cash flow. * Build strong relationships with manufacturing partners to stay informed on industry products. * Use project dashboards and technology tools to track progress and profitability. * Provide technical support to field personnel with assistance from the Team Lead and Operations Team. * Review and approve material invoices and technician timesheets. * Collaborate with Estimating and Team Lead to prepare and submit change orders up to $100K. * Deliver required documentation such as as-built drawings, cable certification reports, and warranties. * Conduct on-site inspections of local work locations. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications * 4-6 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. * 2+ years of college; bachelor's degree preferred. * Proven success in managing construction costs. * Strong math skills and numerical aptitude. * Experience with large-scale construction projects, preferably in low voltage. * Demonstrated ability to manage projects up to $500K with cumulative annual revenue of $2M. * Ability to prepare quotes for MAC requests from existing clients. * Familiarity with low voltage products. * Capable of independently completing change orders up to $50K under supervision. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
