Job Title: A/V Technician Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled A/V Technician to join our team on a 3-month contract-to-hire basis. This role involves either handling commercial installations or temporarily replacing a residential installer transitioning to the commercial sector. Responsibilities include hanging TVs and projectors, pulling cables, and integrating devices across various locations. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of cabling, hand tools, and A/V installation techniques. Candidates must be adaptable, take direction well, and work seamlessly with the team. Responsibilities * Perform commercial and residential A/V installations, including TVs, projectors, and speakers. * Pull cables and integrate devices throughout various locations. * Utilize hand tools and knowledge of cabling for efficient A/V setup. * Adapt to different installation scenarios and take direction effectively. * Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project completion. Essential Skills * Proven experience in commercial A/V installations. * Proficiency in using hand tools for A/V setup. * Strong understanding of cabling techniques. * Ability to integrate and install A/V equipment effectively. * Excellent work ethic and customer service skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Advanced technical skills in designing, configuring, and installing complex A/V and lighting systems. * Expertise in automation programming and user interface development. * Advanced troubleshooting and repair skills for A/V and lighting equipment. * Strong documentation and reporting abilities. * Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated on industry trends. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
