*Description*
Plan, direct and sell business goods or services for the organization. Develop prospects, customer relationships; manage distributors, OEM's and end users in assigned territory in a specific geographic region. Collaborate with customer service group to ensure account support, identify opportunities and service is maximized. Ensure that all tasks are performed in accordance with company policies and quality system procedures. Tasks: - Make sales visits to distributors, OEMs, end users, and prospective customers 50% of the time. - Work at home office, planning sales trips and researching new customers, 50% of the time. - Increase revenue by training the distributor network via relationship building. - Develop marketing plans for all appropriate distributors, including market type, prospective accounts, and competitive information. - Provide a monthly rolling forecast for all assigned and prospects as requested. - Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including requests for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions. - Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments. - Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support. - Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs. Facilitate resolution of customer complaints. - Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers. - Prepare and submit the weekly visit report in a timely manner. - Maintain and submit a monthly report on all opportunities and the status of the target account and open quotations. - Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment. - Other duties as assigned. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* MUST be open to traveling 50% of the time to the territory Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience commensurate to a degree and five (3) + years of direct experience in sales and marketing. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general use of all office equipment. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
