Inova Loudoun Hospital - Observation Unit (24 Main) is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 2 to join the team. This role will be full time, nights: Monday - Friday, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am with rotating weekends (2 Fridays, 2 Saturdays, and 2 Sundays per 6-week period) & holidays (1 major & 1 minor per year). Clinical Technician 2 - Observation Unit Job Responsibilities:
- Provides direct care to patients whose care requirements are routine and standardized, with predictable outcomes, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse
- Effectively communicates with health team members, patients and families; Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others.
- Assists unit leadership with overseeing other unit Clinical Technician education records.
- Has respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines.
- Maintains competencies and seeks opportunities to develop professionally.
- Identifies own learning needs based on self-evaluation and the progress made from the previous year's goals.
- Assumes responsibility for self-development in life long learning and seeks opportunities to further increase practice knowledge.

- Training: Must be available six (6) for non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:
- Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
- Virtual training modules.
- Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
- On-unit shifts
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1 year of acute care experience as a Clinical Tech or clinical rotation with an accredited nursing program and/or 2 years of nursing school
- Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association within 3 months of start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Training: must be able to attend a 6-week training course
- Experience: Patient care experience
- Soft Skills: critical thinking, teamwork, striving in a fast-paced environment, communication, stress management, emotional resilience.
