Description:



  • Responsible for scheduling, planning, managing, and executing multiple survey projects.
  • Ensure projects meet the proposed schedule and are within the designated budget.
  • Frequently interact with clients and remains responsive to client while directing any concerns to the appropriate authorities.
  • Organize the technical production of projects, directs field work, and monitors quality and control of work.
  • Coordinate surveying tasks with project managers.
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Understand state and local regulations regarding surveying.
  • Calculate surveying fees and write proposals.
  • Effectively communicate information to staff, clients, and the project team.
  • Participate in site visits, agency meetings, and municipal meetings as needed.
  • Work on-site as needed, with flexibility to travel to various project locations.


Requirements:



  • A bachelor's degree in Surveying preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Professional Land Surveyor registration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in geomatics.
  • Autocad Civil 3D experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
  • Behavioral traits of process oriented, steady, helpful, analytical, problem solver, methodical, consistent, detail oriented, precise, hates mistakes.
  • The ability to balance multiple work assignments on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Process-oriented thinking with strong organizational and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to take and understand directives from Project Managers.
  • The ability to complete work consistently, with moderate flexibility to accommodate varying demands from Project Managers.
  • The ability to work alone but also effectively as part of a team.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, an acceptable motor vehicle record, a cleared criminal background check and pass a drug test.
