Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resorts Friends and family ski discounts, free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals (winter staff only) Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shift Subsidized housing options available for seasonal full-time staff Discounts for staff members at restaurants, shops, and service providers in Park City Healthcare options are available for staff members 401k plan with company match PURPOSE OF POSITION: A cashier's responsibilities include assisting guests with directions, ensuring correct and prompt cash and credit card transactions, and maintaining the correct bank balance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions Ensure register is stocked with rolls of register tape, pens, clipboards, and a bottle opener Count cash at beginning and end of shift Have a complete knowledge of all food and beverage products to answer guest questions Notify manager of any voids or refunds before the end of the day Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Understand and speak English Previous cash handling experience preferred DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: Winter 2025 - 26 PAY RATE: Pay: $20.00 per hour Deer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
