This position is funded for 1 year(s); continuation past 1 year(s) will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding.POSITION SPECIFICS The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Hershey, PA. The project that the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will be working on is a multi-site study in which we have two recruitment site locations in the Greater Philadelphia area (Philadelphia and Allentown). It is essential that this CRC will be stationed at the Philadelphia Women's Center (PWC) and Planned Parenthood (PP) locations to assess eligibility of patients, obtain consent, enroll, conduct phlebotomy and all other essential duties that pertain to patient visits. This CRC will travel, as needed, to the Penn State University site to interface with the Principal Investigator, and all other study team personnel. This CRC will serve as the central contact for PWC planned study participants. The duties of the CRC will most definitely have a direct impact on the core/essential operations, as they will be responsible for the day to day management and coordination of study visits and recruitment and retention of patients. The CRC will be responsible for regulatory, adverse event reporting, and progress reporting along with the supervision of data entry and resolution of queries. Experience needed for this position is Nursing, Phlebotomy, Research Management from initiation of project to close out of project. Passion for reproductive healthcare, evidence-based medicine, and access to care. MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education.
