Responsibilities

Arcfield is seeking a Project Engineer to support our US Navy customer, Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), in Washington, DC.

In this position you will support the nation's most reliable deterrent, while assisting the engineering team in the areas of project, production and design/development. Arcfield has held this contract for over sixty-five years and closely teams with the Navy to accomplish the mission.

This position works daily from Arcfield at Maritime Plaza Office Suites in Washington DC (across the street from the Washington Navy Yard). It is within sight of the Nation's Capital and has access to public transportation. Up to 25% travel can be expected.

What you will do:

  • Support Arcfield's W93/Mk7 program team in providing project support to Navy, Strategic Systems Programs (SP28) in weapons development
  • Collaborate with Navy SSP, NNSA, and external stakeholders in support of W93/Mk7 working groups, coordinate meetings and agenda development, generate meeting summaries, develop and track action items
  • Assist with developing presentations and technical papers, analyze schedules in support of program performance/execution
  • Perform duties as assigned to support Arcfield Maritime Plaza office operations

Qualifications

  • Must have a BS degree with 5-7 years of work experience, or a MS with 3-5 years of work experience, or a PhD with 0-2 years of work experience
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • You possess excellent organization, writing and communication skills.
  • You are experienced in managing deliverables and documentation.
  • You are experienced in maintaining professional relationships with team members.

Equal Pay Act

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, Arcfield invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
