Here is how the Strategic Execution Intern role will impact our business:

The Strategic Execution Intern will support the team in evaluating, analyzing, and executing high-impact strategic initiatives, investments, and transactions. This internship provides hands-on exposure to corporate development, M&A, and strategic analysis within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The Strategic Execution Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Assist in the analysis and execution of strategic transactions, investments, and partnerships.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of financial models for forecasting, valuation, and scenario analysis.
  • Conduct market, financial, and competitive research to inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to due diligence processes by gathering and synthesizing data from internal teams and external advisors.
  • Help prepare presentation materials, reports, and analyses for senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Help develop and articulate investment theses, supporting recommendations with both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Track and analyze industry trends, competitor performance, and key market dynamics to support strategic planning efforts.
  • Work in a high-intensity environment =to meet deadlines and support live transactions.


Required Experience and Skills:



  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Math, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data and research tools is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn.
  • Desire to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Interest in corporate strategy, M&A, investments, and the Energy sector preferred.


Preferred Experience and Skills:



  • Coursework or experience in financial modeling, valuation, or investment analysis.
  • Familiarity with financial databases such as Capital IQ, FactSet, or Bloomberg.
  • Understanding of key corporate finance and capital markets principles.
  • Prior internship or project experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development is a plus but is not required.



Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee.


Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
