GFT is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our expanding Power Group. This role will be based in Roanoke, VA, Charlotte, NC, or Monroeville, PA with the option for fully remote work for experienced candidates.

What you'll be challenged to do:

The Project Coordinator provides project management support to the Project Management team. Under general direction, performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard project management techniques for projects throughout the project lifecycle.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist Project Manager and Functional Team Leads by tracking open project resource requests
  • Assist in monitoring the project schedule
  • Assist with preparation of cost proposals and change orders
  • Support project status meetings and compile meeting minutes
  • Communicate relevant information to all team members under guidance of Project Manager
  • Prepare project accrual and forecasting reports with guidance
  • Utilize project management software to set up and enter applicable data
  • Compile required documentation for all new and active projects
  • Prepare and maintain electronic and hard copy project folders
  • Participate in project audits
  • Support internal KPI dashboards and track performance metrics
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Education | Experience:

What you'll bring to our firm:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Associate's degree or high school diploma and equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools

What we prefer you bring:

  • CAPM certification
  • Experience in the energy industry or consulting services environment

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $62,000 -$80,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
