What to Expect
AsaConstructionProjectManager, you will be playing a critical role intheconstructionof novelrefinery projects in North America. You willbe responsible fordelivering capex projects byworking cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders, supporting end users, collaborating with construction engineering,project controls and execution leads, while ensuring your projects are ahead of schedule and under budget.

What You'll Do
  • Create a roadmap for project success, understanding all the components of your projects and findingcreativeways to meet project deliverables

  • Responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering site construction and supporting activities, including planning, procurement, construction, start-up,andprime contract close-out

  • Overall responsibility for project execution, ensuring that the project is delivered within contract requirementsand Teslastandards of quality and safety

  • Write detailed and effective bid packages, ensuring seamless delivery of your project and always finding the best value for Tesla

  • Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and company wide

  • Deliver projects ahead of schedule, enabling your teams and counterparts to solve problems and prioritize execution by company needs

  • Track and understand all project costs at a fundamental level, challenge yourself and cross functional teams to drive costs down, and suggest value engineered proposals with thorough first principles analysis


What You'll Bring
  • 7+ years ofrelevant industryexperience(heavy industrial, oil & gas, complex chemical plants)

  • Previousexperienceon$250M+ projects

  • Previousexperience managing internal (self-perform) construction resources, as well as subcontractor execution

  • Proficiencyin Constructionbaseline development, change control, cost/scheduleperformanceand varianceanalysis

  • Excellent written and verbal communication&presentation skills

  • Proficientknowledge and proven delivery on Civil, Structural, and Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Life Safety and Controls Scopes

  • Willingness to get your hands dirty as needed to completeobjectivesand lead through challenging projects.
