Software Engineer: II (Intermediate)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Engineer with proven experience in developing cloud-native API applications using Node.js, serverless, and AWS. Ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience in implementing IaC and CI/CD solutions and demonstrate solid understanding of security, networking, and scaling concepts.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Self-starter.
• Able to lead complex initiatives and design scalable solutions.
• TypeScript and Node.js experience.
• Experience building microservices and RESTful services.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, SQS, Kafka.
• Experience with API Gateways.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.
• IAC experience with AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, etc.
• Solid understanding of networking and security concepts like DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Encryption, etc.
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge.

Bonus skills:

• AWS Fargate, ECS, CloudWatch, S3, Datadog.
• Full Stack experience.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks and Content Malmanagement systems.
• Experience in large scale real-time stream / event processing systems.
• Prior experience working with a customer experience API and websites.
• Experience in ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
