Summary
Redwire Space Missions has a current opportunity for a
Contractor - Embedded,
Software Test Engineer for up to 6 months in our Jacksonville, FL facility.
In this role you will focus on Embedded Software Test and Verification to design and implement new systems and features, as well as modify and maintain existing systems for adaptation to business and/or technology changes. The senior software engineer engages with management, development teams, technical delivery teams, and customers to ensure the successful design, development, and delivery of technology-based solutions, with a focus on digital engineering processes and procedures, space digital design and development experience or analysis for space applications. The applicant will be expected to provide full life cycle (requirements, design, development, and testing) software engineering for space and test systems and assist with developing and maintaining build processes for these systems. The applicant will be expected to fulfill a leadership position in guiding, instructing, and mentoring other junior engineers in best practices, policies and procedures, coding standards, and task management. Candidate will support Redwire's modular architecture approach, must be proficient in C/C++, and possess a clear understanding of software principles and object-oriented analysis, design, and development. U.S. Citizenship is required.
