Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned) The IT Advisor is responsible for supporting cybersecurity operations, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure initiatives across both IT and OT environments. This includes managing Splunk deployments and logging infrastructure across plant sites, overseeing the CrowdStrike Falcon console for policy tuning, alert triage, and endpoint visibility, and assisting in incident response planning and remediation through SOP development. The role also involves tuning Fortinet alerts to improve visibility for legacy systems, communicating technical updates and guidance through email and Teams collaboration, and working cross-functionally to ensure secure and compliant operations across the enterprise. Daily participation in cyber risk and threat intelligence briefings with the CSOC team and support for governance efforts such as NERC CIP and TSA IT GRC are also key responsibilities. In addition to these core duties, the IT Advisor works across all 14 cybersecurity technical disciplines and provides leadership and guidance to the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Security Operations Center. This requires a broad understanding of security tools and frameworks, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a robust and resilient cybersecurity posture. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 6-8 years of experience in the specialized field with additional experience in other IT areas. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager. Job Responsibilities
