Job Description




As a Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming guests and assisting tenants while maintaining a professional presence. Your role is to help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points, managing badge control, and providing outstanding customer service. You will use computer systems and/or tablets as part of your daily tasks, supporting a secure and welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to individuals entering and exiting the building by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required, and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, and events occurring at the front desk.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including communicating important information to building occupants and first responders.
  • Answer questions and provide information to tenants, guests, and vendors in a professional manner, helping to foster a welcoming environment while supporting security-related objectives.
  • Operate front desk systems and technology, such as visitor management software, communication devices, and access control systems.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
