Your Job

GP Recycling seeks a Supply Chain Analyst to play a critical role in optimizing the sourcing and delivery of recycled fiber materials for our containerboard and pro mills. You will leverage data analytics, supply chain expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to reduce costs, mitigate supply risks, and enhance operational continuity-directly impacting our company's competitive advantage and shareholder value.

This is a strategic and hands-on role combining tactical execution with proactive solution development. You will be responsible for developing and managing key performance indicators, forecasting demand, and continuously improving sourcing strategies to balance quality, cost, and availability.

Our Team

Our Recycled Fiber Procurement team partners closely with sales, mill operations, and logistics to own cost, quality, and supply reliability. Using deep industry knowledge and data insights, they drive long-term value through principled entrepreneurship and agile decision-making. This position reports to the Manager of Analysis and collaborates within the wider Internal Business team.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with sales and mill operations to secure cost-effective, high-quality recycled fiber supply aligned with demand forecasts.
  • Analyze and optimize multiple supply points considering transportation options, unloading capacity, and inventory constraints.
  • Develop, own, and maintain quality expectations and standards within your sourcing portfolio.
  • Build and sustain strong business relationships with facility leaders and internal stakeholders to promote efficient, profitable operations.
  • Establish and track benchmarks, KPIs, and metrics such as consumption rates, inventory levels, and forecast accuracy.
  • Lead concurrent projects, prioritizing initiatives that drive measurable business value.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate solutions clearly to stakeholders.
  • Assess supply risks continually, collaborate on short- and long-term sourcing strategies, and adjust plans to dynamic market conditions.
  • Engage in cross-functional planning cycles, sharing market intelligence and inventory data to optimize volume allocation and freight logistics.
  • Travel to customer and facility sites as required (typically less than 15% of the time).

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 2 years of experience in an operations, supply chain/procurement, or finance role
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to create and modify spreadsheets using formulas, utilizing VLOOKUP and PivotTables
  • Experience reviewing and analyzing data in support of business decisions

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in business management, finance, logistics or supply chain
  • Logistics experience
  • Experience with root cause analysis
  • Previous experience in a distribution center or production environment
  • Experience in planning, forecasting, or procurement
  • Experience presenting reports, proposals, plans, etc. to leadership in written or verbal communication
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and departments

For this role, we anticipate paying between $80,000 - $110,000.
