Description

Qualifications

VNE, LLC is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Platform ILS Manager/Provisioner

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:




  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Foundational/Level 1; demonstrate/specify equivalent life cycle logistics training; or possess an additional one (1) year (i.e., total 4 years minimum experience) working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.
  • IAT Level II certification highly desired. Possible to obtain while on contract.


Experience:



  • Three (3) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes.
  • Experience shall include at least one (1) years of support with C4ISR or similar systems, to include: Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, and Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Proficient at utilizing operational inventory management software tools to verify existing inventory levels and generate accurate and automated reports. They will also automate logistic reporting as necessary using these software suites to ensure efficient and real-time inventory monitoring.
  • TS/SCI level Clearance required.


Job Description:



  • Nomenclature development/update in JETDAS
  • Developed & Updated Configuration Overhaul Planning (COP) files for Configuration Data Management Work Files (CDMD-OA/MBPS)
  • Prepare Regional Maintenance and Modernization Coordination Office (RMMCO) Binders (Email/mailouts)- (Afloat and Ashore)
  • Request Repairable Identification Code (XRIC) & XSFT and Equipment Identification Code (EIC) for SW and HW
  • Review SIDs and FRCB work scopes
  • Determining and acquiring the necessary support items for a weapon system or major end item.
  • Collaborating with IPT/Project Lead/Team Leads to address logistics requirements and related supply chain costs.
  • Documenting and ensuring accessibility of item technical and logistics data relevant to end item supply support.
  • Compare provisioning documentation to engineering drawings, technical manuals and existing APLs to identify any differences. If differences exist, a recommendation for resolution shall be submitted.
  • Review the ICAPS data against the ECP/NCR and equipment matrix prior to transmitting the ICAPS file to the Technical Support Agent (TSA)
  • Conduct a part number search in the Weapons System File (WSF), Information Handling Services (IHS) and Federal Logistics Center (FEDLOG) to ascertain if the equipment has been previously provisioned and to obtain Navy Identification Code Number (NICN) or National Stock Number (NSN) for any items or parts that may already be in the Federal Supply System.
  • Contact the OEM to ensure parts are still available and to verify part numbers and prices. Perform a physical verification/inspection of the equipment to compare the actual configuration and part numbers with the equipment matrix. Contact the OEM to resolve any part number discrepancies identified. Modify the equipment part numbers for sparing as required when original equipment is not available due to OEM migration. Identify and validate suitable replacements through the OEM.
  • Identify the parts required for provisioning and supply support. Research the OEM equipment documentation utilizing the Internet or by contacting the OEM directly to obtain the data necessary to develop and support the provisioning technical documentation.
  • Determining LRU candidate selection from DWG reviews and Provisioning Conference
  • Validate the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part numbers and model numbers provided in the ECP/NCR are correct, complete, and applicable to the hull.
  • Provide technical documentation research and data acquisition to produce technical data in the Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPs) then transmitted to the Navy Inventory Control point (NAVICP) for inclusion in the Shipboard Allowance Parts Lists (APL).
  • ICAPS submission for APL support
  • Update and Maintain all Allowance Parts Lists (APLs) for validation sustainment
  • Item Unique Identification (IUID), Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
  • Implementing provisioning methods such as conference teams, in-house desktop provisioning, resident provisioning teams, and contractor-provided provisioning.
  • Determining and acquiring the necessary support items for a weapon system or major end item.
  • Collaborating with managers to address logistics requirements and related supply chain costs.
  • Documenting and ensuring accessibility of item technical and logistics data relevant to end item supply support.
  • Implementing provisioning methods such as conference teams, in-house desktop provisioning, resident provisioning teams, and contractor-provided provisioning.
  • Ensuring compliance with supply chain and audit requirements to maintain mission readiness


Essential Duties of the Job:



  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
