Overview

Are you passionate about helping others succeed through training and development? Milton CAT is seeking a dynamic Technical Training Specialist to elevate the technical capabilities of our service teams across New England. In this impactful role, you'll deliver hands-on and remote training, ensuring consistency and excellence across our branches.

Territory: Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont

Pay Rate: $55,000 - $75,000 year based on location, education and experience.



Responsibilities

    Deliver engaging in-person and remote training to new and existing service employees.
  • Develop and lead service process training classes to ensure consistency across branches.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve training programs and materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and refine process documentation.
  • Utilize Caterpillar's online training platform to assign and track employee progress.
  • Participate in Service Department Procedure and Training Committees.
  • Travel to various Milton CAT locations as needed.


Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

  • Ability to train new subjects and concepts to all employees and drive consistency in process execution
  • Dynamic presentation skills with strong public speaking & overall communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to develop training and utilize E-Learning
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to travel to other Milton CAT locations as needed

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Prior industry experience preferred but not required.
