The Identity Analyst will be responsible for managing and ensuring the integrity of the enterprise's identity and
access management (IAM) framework. This role focuses on aligning business-defined roles with system-level
permissions to uphold the principle of least privilege. The analyst will be responsible for creating, maintaining,
and reviewing documentation for all identity and access processes, roles, and standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with business units to define, document, and maintain business roles and their

corresponding access requirements.
* Performs analysis to ensure that system-defined permissions and access rights are consistent with
business-defined roles.
* Authors and continuously updates identity and access management documentation, including role
definitions, access standards, procedures, and system configurations.
* Facilitates regular access reviews and audits to identify and remediate inappropriate or excessive
permissions.
* Analyzes technical problems related to identity and access, providing support for solving these issues.
* Identifies, reports, and resolves access-related security violations and discrepancies.
* Facilitates and performs analysis for internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory
frameworks.
* Ensures that all stakeholders understand and adhere to the established identity and access
management policies and standards.
* Analyzes the impact of new systems or applications on the existing role-based access control (RBAC)
framework.
* Compiles and analyzes data to create management reports and metrics on the health and effectiveness
of IAM controls.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant professional certification + 2-4 years relevant work experience OR 4+
  • years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working with access control frameworks (RBAC) and internal control principles (SOD).
  • Highly motivated, with strong personal integrity and a keen sense of urgency.
  • Instinctive and creative with the highest ethical standards and values.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Technical knowledge of identity, authentication, authorization, data, and access control concepts.
  • An understanding of business needs and a commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient service.
  • An ability to identify and assess the severity and potential impact of access-related risks and
  • communicate them effectively to business stakeholders.
  • Technical expertise in documenting processes and creating clear, concise standards and procedures.
  • An ability to work with regulatory guidance, information security frameworks, internal policies, and standards.
  • An ability to perform independent analysis of complex access-related problems and distill relevant findings.
