At Advantage Technical, we're seeking a BSG Development & Validation Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI, to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team shaping the next generation of vehicles and world-class powertrain systems.

Pay Rate: $37.50 - $38.26/hr.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Design, develop, and execute Design Verification Plans (DVPs) for propulsion system requirement testing.
  • Evaluate requirements, identify appropriate test environments (HIL or vehicle), and perform testing on Electrified-Hybrid Propulsion Systems.
  • Analyze issues, perform root-cause assessments, and propose corrective solutions.
  • Identify critical and corner-case test scenarios to expose potential system failures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support validation and release of electric components for automotive applications.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field (ABET accredited); Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience (research work may qualify).
  • Experience with validation and release of electric or hybrid vehicle components.
  • Skilled in DFMEA, DVP&R, and GD&T methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities; able to work independently or in teams.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes for electrical components.
  • Familiarity with electrified powertrain systems, power electronics, and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) a plus.
  • Experience using TeamCenter and NX in a production release environment preferred.
  • Onsite at CTC 3-5 days per week; minimal travel (0-5%, mostly local).
