Job Description

Role Description

The primary focus of the Quality Assurance Technician is to insure no non-conforming product is shipped to a customer. To insure all employees are following all WireCo policies, procedures, and work instructions.

The Quality Assurance Technician, Fabricated Products must exhibit and proactively motivate others in the behaviors of the WireCo Business System (WBS):

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Quality Process Manager in completing FAI's, PPAP's, and other inspections as required
  • Assisting Quality manager with measurements and meetings
  • Internal ISO 9001 Audits
  • Assist with identifying and facilitating CI projects
  • Other duties as assigned by management

2nd shift, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Tuesday - Friday, OT available

+ Shift Differential, if applicable

+ Monthly incentive payments after 90-day probationary period

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Quality Assurance Technicians must possess the ability to learn all processes and show competency
  • A high school diploma or GED is required
Additional Information

Materials and Equipment Directly Used

  • Standard office equipment including, but not limited to: computer, mouse, keyboard, telephone, fax, calculator, multifunction copier
  • Personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed safety shoes
  • All testing devices
  • All production equipment, including mobile equipment (ie tow motor, fork truck)
  • All measuring devices, which would include, but not limited to: ring gages, hardness tester, tape measure, micrometers, dial calipers, proof loaders, etc.

Additional Information

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • An applicant must complete a satisfactory background check post-offer of employment. A criminal conviction will not be an automatic bar to employment.
  • Must be willing and able to pass a post-offer drug screen and physical (if required)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
