Job Family Description

Administrative and business services professionals provide various office and location support activities. They identify, enhance, and follow specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of the business to which the support is being provided, and ensure the correct functioning of facilities, office and/or business support services.

Discipline Description

Business Analysts are professionals who analyze business processes, and data across an entire organization to optimize performance, and drive strategic initiatives. They bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, facilitating organizational change, and maximizing the value of enterprise-wide investments. They may use Six Sigma skills for data analysis and evaluation. They take the results of the analysis and establish improvements and control mechanisms.

Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include:

The successful candidate must have knowledge of concepts, methods, standards, and practices of subcontract administration. Experience with Government subcontract administration. Strong understanding and working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Department of Energy Acquisition Regulations (DEAR). Possess strong negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills, exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, and the capability to perform effectively under high stress to meet deadlines in a contingency operations environment.

Additional skills needed but not limited to the following:
*Conduct subcontractor audits/assessments
*Experience constructing and administering Engineered Equipment or Service Subcontracts. Including stand-alone Subcontracts, BOA's and IDIQ's
*Analyze and mitigate Supply Chain Risk
*Develop processes and work flows
*Comprehending Technical Projects in relation to cost and schedule

The candidate must be able to negotiate and maintain networking relationships with subcontractors and possess exceptional interpersonal skills when interfacing with subcontractors and various internal departments.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with priorities changing daily.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least ten years of experience (YOE), OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least eight years of experience (YOE), OR Doctoral degree in relevant field plus at least five years of experience (YOE)
* Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered

* 4+ years Government Contracting Experience preferred.

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.
