We're seeking a Network Engineer in Dallas - Sherry Lane to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.
SUMMARY
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of network engineering principles and a strong desire to further develop their skills. This role will focus on working with Arista Switching and Palo Alto Firewall technologies.
YOU WILL:
Assist in designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure using Arista Switching, Palo Alto Firewall, and ClearPass technologies.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality and security.
Possess basic knowledge of PKI and 802.1x.
Collaborate with senior network engineers to develop and implement network solutions that meet organizational needs.
Perform routine network maintenance tasks, such as updates, patches, and configurations.
Help document network configurations, processes, diagram and procedures.
Provide support for network-related incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
Participate in network security initiatives, including implementing firewall rules and security policies.
Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in network engineering and security.
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of network engineering principles and protocols.
Familiarity with Arista Switching and Palo Alto Firewall technologies is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
