Mechanical Inspector (CMM)

First Shift - Temp to Hire

As an Inspector, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of precision-machined components. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will inspect and verify that all mechanical parts meet detailed engineering and customer specifications. Using advanced measurement tools, including coordinate measuring machines (CMM), you'll help maintain the highest quality standards from initial setup through final inspection. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, attention to detail, and teamwork.

• Inspect precision mechanical parts using CMMs, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision instruments
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and compliance with engineering drawings
• Operate CMM equipment
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements to ensure parts meet specified tolerances
• Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Hands-on experience with CMM operation and precision measuring tools
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems (aerospace experience a plus)
