Position Summary: We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily receiving and shipping activities within our facility. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth flow of operations, from tracking inventory to managing shipments and receipt documentation. This position requires experience working with an MRP or ERP system. This person will be evaluated on the increase of the team's performance based on established targets and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Plan and organize daily receiving and shipping activities to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Ability to enter sales orders, and shipping/receiving information into the system.
  • Increase the efficiency of the team to meet the targets and KPI requested.
  • Monitor and manage inventory to identify out-of-stock items for immediate shipment upon receipt.
  • Verify and process all receiving paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare and generate billing documentation for clients based on shipped orders.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any inventory or shipping discrepancies.
  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring they are adhering to company policies and best practices.
  • Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company protocols.


Qualifications:



  • 5 to 10 years of experience in warehouse operations or a similar role.
  • Associate's degree or High School diploma/GED with two years of related leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • XA or related ERP Systems experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:



  • The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas were all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shops and other mandatory safety equipment.
  • For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment present throughout the facility.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



  • Sit or Stand as needed.
  • Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
  • Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.
  • Proper lifting techniques required.
