Radiation Detection R&D Engineer - 25-029 - San Diego, CA As a growing Department of Defense Contractor, AUSGAR Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Radiation Detection R&D Engineer to join our team of smart and innovative technical team members at NIWC PAC - Bayside in the Point Loma area of San Diego, CA. The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific is a research facility targeted at driving innovation and warfighter information advantage in support of the US Navy and other DoD-related missions. We are looking for a motivated engineer to join the project to design, develop and deploy radiation detection systems and enable technologies. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, scientists and technicians to research detection technologies, interface with users to understand needs and requirements and field complete radiation detection solutions. Hours: Full time with flexible hours. Core hours are 9:00-2:00 PST. Work Site Expectations: At least 4 days per week in office. Duties and Responsibilities:
