Could you be the full-time onsite Operations Center Supervisor in JFK we're looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your multifaceted operations management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated, professional, and skilled teammates. You'll spearhead initiatives that enhance the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our transportation services. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (including Electrical, Electronics, Facilities, Track, and Vehicles maintenance), supervise operations center personnel, develop and implement strategic work schedules, and much more.

We'll look to you for:




  • Directing and supervising operations center personnel that perform ATC, SCADA, Rapid Response and Access Control,



  • Developing and implementing strategies for safe, reliable and efficient operations in accordance with rules and procedures,



  • Taking leadership to implement maintenance activities of employees and subcontractors, directing revenue activities during normal and emergency events,



  • Overseeing and supervising a shift of employees supporting the operations and maintenance of AirTrain JFK,



  • Enforcing Company policies, operations center rules and levying discipline as necessary,



  • Recording, reviewing, tracking and analyzing various operational and administrative metrics,



  • Developing and implementing shift work schedules and supervising revenue activities to ensure customer service delivery,



  • Leading Site Shift briefings and supervising the safe and efficient execution of work areas and work permits,



  • Training, qualifying, and certifying employees to ensure proficiency, efficiency, and safety in job tasks,



  • Communicating and enforcing safety standards and procedures, conducting safety audits, and addressing safety hazards

  • High School Diploma or EquivalentHigh School Diploma or Equivalent,



  • Experience or understanding of supervising operations in a transit environment,



  • Knowledge of ATC, SCADA, Rapid Response, and Access Control systems,



  • Familiarity with MAXIMO or similar work management systems,



  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,



  • Proven leadership and team management abilities,



  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure,



  • Capacity to develop and implement operational strategies,



  • Commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to change,



  • Dedication to safety standards and procedures

Additional information and elements to consider
Will require flexibility and willingness to work in a 24/7 shift environment, safety sensitive position that is subject to random alcohol and drug tests, valid driver license in accordance with NY State DMV laws. Homeland Security background security check SIDA. Work area audio and video recorded.

Salary Range - Min $80,000 annually - Max - $95,000
