| Scope of work Responsible for the safe application of oxygen at pressures up to 66 feet of seawater under the direction of the Technical Director and Hyperbaric Physicians. Per the Technical Director, oversees the maintenance and operation of associated life support systems and equipment. Oversees chamber operations in the absence of the Technical Director. May serve as Safety Director for the department having completed an HBO safety director course. May serve as the primary educator for the department and lead in-service training. Qualifications A. Education / Training: * Required High School Diploma or equivalent * Required Valid CHT certification by the NBDHMT is required within one year of hire. Two years of clinical hyperbaric operations experience. * Required Must be a registered Paramedic, EMT, licensed allied health care professional, or military equivalent at the discretion of the Technical Director. * B. Work Experience: * Trainin * 0-3 years' experience. Required * 2 years of relevant experience Two years of clinical hyperbaric operations experience. Required * CRT-Hyperbaric Technologist, Certified (CHT) - NBDHMT National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology 1 Year required C.
