Machine Operator Packaging Line Operator - 4th Shift

Schedule:

  • Thursday & Friday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

Pay:

  • Base Pay: $22.95 per hour
  • Shift Differential: +$1.75 per hour
  • This position is also eligible for a bonus.
Essential Responsibilities

Operate at least one major piece of equipment on any packaging line.

Perform minor preventive maintenance, including lubrication, cleaning, inspections, and adjustments.

Assist Mechanics/Line Technicians with planned maintenance activities.

Complete all required daily safety checks, observations, quality checks, checklists, and housekeeping tasks.

Clear equipment jams.

Ensure compliance with the recycling process for empty component boxes.

Use computer interface panels to operate equipment.

Maintain equipment and perform full changeovers, washouts, and sanitizations.

Follow all SOP and GMP requirements.

Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and follow all safety procedures as documented in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

Immediately report any safety hazards, quality issues, or production concerns to supervision.

Participate in all job-related safety, quality, and equipment training.

Comply with all Church & Dwight Co., Inc. policies, procedures, and applicable NJ laws.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Train other operators as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.

Strong teamwork skills; able to interact with employees at all levels.

Ability to take and follow directions.

Basic math skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to maintain a strong safety record.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
