TRA - Non-CDL

The TRA Non CDL driver is responsible for transporting parts, components, and equipment to and from customer, vendor, and company locations and job sites. Drivers must be able to perform independently under limited supervision. Drivers will transport palletized loads, hydraulic cylinders, final drives, undercarriage components and tracks, and other items associate with our business. Drivers must be able to safely operate and load all types of equipment and safely operate a lift truck in the loading and unloading of cargo. The Driver will demonstrate initiative, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner.

* Basic safe machine operation & inspection

* Conduct and document daily vehicle inspections

* Maintain truck and driving log according to DOT Regulations

* Adhere to DOT and Company safely regulations and procedures

* Ensure preventive maintenance on truck is performed as required

* Load and unload truck cargo

* Properly secure truck cargo for transport

* Ensure proper documentation for cargo including MSDS for hazardous materials

* Follows 5-Star Contamination Control procedures

* Maintain clean, neat, and orderly truck

* All essential job functions associated with Shipping Clerk and Truck Driver

* Operate a lift truck in a safe manner

High School or Equivalent (required)

Candidates for this position must possess strong mechanical aptitude, experience operating a truck and trailer, and basic warehouse operations. Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills are required for this position (required)
