Overview
Metronome is seeking a Senior Analytic Methodologist to support the Office of Eurasia (AOE) under NGA. This role focuses on applying advanced analytic methodologies to complex intelligence problems-leveraging spatial, temporal, and non-spatial data to enhance situational awareness and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis, data modeling, and visualization, combined with proficiency in programming and geospatial tools.
Key Responsibilities
Apply quantitative and qualitative analytic techniques to address complex intelligence and operational challenges. Develop and implement data-driven methodologies using modeling, systems analysis, comparative analysis, and data visualization. Conduct data mining, cleansing, and exploration across structured and unstructured datasets, including spatial and temporal data. Utilize analytic and geospatial tools (e.g., GIS platforms) to visualize and communicate complex data relationships. Create and maintain databases and analytic workflows to support mission requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional intelligence teams to refine analytic methods and ensure mission relevance. Present findings and methodologies in clear, concise, and visually compelling formats to stakeholders.
7+ years of experience applying advanced analytic techniques and methodologies. Expertise in data mining, modeling, and visualization using spatial and non-spatial data. Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and SQL. Familiarity with spatial analysis tools and concepts, database development, and analytic information extraction. Demonstrated ability to transform large, complex datasets into actionable insights. Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
Experience supporting NGA or other Intelligence Community missions. Familiarity with analytic modeling software, GIS platforms, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, ArcGIS, Qlik). Graduate-level degree in Data Science, Geography, Computer Science, or a related analytic discipline.
