About the Role

We're looking for a strategic and people-focused leader to join our Remarketing team as Manager, Remarketing - Client Directed Sales. In this role, you will lead the delivery of Element's vehicle valuation and client-directed sale programs. You'll manage a team responsible for lease buyouts, fair market value quotes, tax calculations, and the execution of client-directed sales. You'll also oversee the Employee Purchase Program, ensuring operational excellence, superior client experience, and alignment with business revenue goals.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the delivery of the vehicle valuation and client-directed sale program across multiple vehicle categories, including cars, light trucks, medium/heavy-duty trucks, and material handling.
  • Manage a high-performing team responsible for accurate lease buyouts, fair market value (FMV) quotes, and tax calculations.
  • Oversee the Employee Purchase Program and provide administrative support for driver quotes.
  • Ensure timely execution of client sales, including financial reconciliation, FMV validation, and tax verification.
  • Support Title Sales Operations to ensure timely and accurate sale completion.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal partners (FPS, Commercial Sales, Account Management, Specialists, and Associates) to deliver superior client service.
  • Monitor pricing activities and ensure compliance with policies using resources such as Black Book (API & Online), NADA, MMR, and internal databases.
  • Manage daily cash application and reconciliation processes for funds received from auctions, clients, and third parties.
  • Approve vendor setups and invoices for refunds or vendor payments as needed.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience leading teams in a client-focused environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in a business environment with demonstrated financial acumen.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience within a Remarketing or related automotive, fleet management, or equipment finance function.
  • Strong ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated success in building and motivating teams to achieve performance goals.
  • Experience managing client relationships and supporting revenue-generating programs.

Location: Owings Mills

The hiring base salary range for this position is $98,200 - $135,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
