The Intensive Student Coordinator (ISC) is responsible to provide support for students prior to, during and after the intensive experience. The ISC serves as the primary point of contact for student logistical support and planning at the assigned location. Additionally, the ISC collaboratively coordinates the student intensive experience with location personnel to ensure the deliver of an optimal student learning experience. The ISC reports directly to the Experiential Learning Manager.

This is a fully-on-site role at the Brookfield, WI campus.

REQUIREMENTS:



  • Associates degree in business, hospitality management, healthcare management or related field.
  • Experience with event coordination.
  • Experience delivering exceptional customer/student service during challenging situations.
  • Experience in process creation, assessment and adaptability to provide exceptional experiences is preferred.


COMPENSATION is determined based on the qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan. The hourly pay range for this position is $24.03 to $28.85 ($50,000 to $60,00 annual).

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Intensive Coordination



  • Serve as lead for student logistical support prior to, during, and after the intensive experience.
  • Serve as a liaison between the location and online division to ensure a positive student experience.
  • Support facility set-up and coordination for intensive experience.
  • Order food, supplies, swag and/or other materials as directed to ensure positive student intensive experience.
  • Collect documentation from student intensives appropriately.
  • Arrive prior to student arrival on days of intensive experience to ensure professional and accurate set-up for daily activities.
  • Develop and distribute pre-event communications, including schedules, packing lists, expectations, and readiness checklists.
  • Track student completion of pre-intensives requirements.
  • Respond to student inquiries and provide guidance on preparation and expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, competency evaluations, and clinical/lab hours.
  • Ensure documentation aligns with course requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with faculty to track student progress and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Facilitate student surveys of each intensive rotation, summarize feedback, and provide reporting to leadership for continuous improvement.


Student, Faculty, and Staff Support



  • Serve as a resource/point of contact for students, faculty, and staff navigating the intensive experience.
  • Provide timely, empathetic, and solution-oriented support before, during, and after intensives.
  • Promote a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
  • Assist students with hotel accommodations, travel planning, and transportation coordination.
  • Communicate travel-related policies, deadlines, and reimbursement procedures.
  • Ensure accessibility and equity in travel arrangements for all students.
  • Escalate concerns appropriately to the Experiential Learning Manager and/or Online Department or Program Chair of Nursing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to occasionally move around the work location.
  • Constantly operates office and/or teach equipment which may include computers, copiers, fax machines, audio/visuals.
  • Frequently uses voice and hearing to communicate with students, staff or colleagues face-to-face or over the telephone.
  • Visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess.
  • Must be able to complete work hours completely in person as this is a fully on-site position.
  • Occasionally move, carry, or lift 10 pounds.
