Salesforce is seeking an experienced Force.com Software Developer to join our Applications Development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver highly scalable internal applications using Force.com technologies. You will work across the full development lifecycle-from front-end to back-end-and collaborate with team members to create new features, enhance existing code, and integrate with multiple systems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement applications using Force.com (Apex, LWC), Java, and web technologies.

  • Develop and maintain complex data models and relational databases using SQL or SOQL.

  • Build web services integrations using SOAP and REST.

  • Lead design approaches for new applications and features, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in software development.

  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance existing frameworks and application functionality.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with Force.com (Apex & LWC) or Java development.

  • Expertise in Object-Oriented Design (MVC patterns).

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Experience designing complex data models and working with SQL/SOQL.

  • Experience with Web Services integration (SOAP and REST).

  • Ability to influence design approaches and provide technical leadership.

  • Understanding of user-based security models and performance tuning.

  • Strong mentoring skills for junior developers.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS (Master's preferred).

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Salesforce.com platform & APIs development experience.

  • Experience integrating with MuleSoft and Slack.

  • Background in enterprise system integration using Web Services.

  • Familiarity with Web 2.0 standards and techniques.

  • Salesforce or Java certifications.

  • Experience with Selenium automation and JS frameworks such as jQuery or ExtJS.
