Overview

Supports the company by leading the day-to-day Ground Operations logistics and commissary functions. Ensure uniforms, linens/blankets, PPE, and other operational supplies are properly stocked, distributed, and accounted for across domestic and international stations. Provides reliable and timely logistical support while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and cost awareness.



Responsibilities

    • Act as first point of contact for logistical support requests from stations and internal departments.
    • Assist in the ordering, tracking, and distribution of Ground Operations uniforms, linens/blankets, PPE, and related materials.
    • Monitor stock levels at key locations, ensuring availability while helping to control costs.
    • Track logistics activity and maintain records using the Ground Operations program (Veoci).
    • Coordinate all inventory transactions, withdrawals, and transfers, ensuring accurate counts at all times.
    • Receive and inspect incoming shipments of all commissary items, crew linens and blankets, PPE, and Ground Operations Uniforms
    • Order commissary and ground supplies through Ariba for the warehouse.
    • Communicate inventory or planning deficiencies; track and monitor performance.
    • Respond to irregular situations impacting inventory availability or aircraft supply needs. Finish
    • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular physical counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.
    • Support Ground Operations Leadership at the MIA Gateway with projects as assigned in Cooler and Dry warehouses.
    • Assist with AMC CAC & Base Access Badge requests, renewals, and database updates.
    • Coordinate supply shipments (ULD build-up material, shoring, plastic, etc.) for worldwide operations.
    • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve logistical concerns.
    • Support special projects and inter-departmental initiatives as assigned by Ground Operations Logistics Management.
    • Travel as needed in support of Ground Operations activities.
    • Work daily with vendors in the MIA Gateway to ensure compliance with activities, inventories and stock levels.
    • Support the development and upkeep of departmental SOPs.
    • Support the 24/7 warehouse for crisis intervention regarding commissary and logistics issues.
    • Review and verify expenses on the Department Credit Card.


Qualifications

  • AA or AS degree required, BA preferred or relevant years' experience.
  • 5 years' experience in aviation, logistics, commissary operations, or related industry.
  • Knowledge of ground and cargo operations processes preferred.
  • Familiarity with logistical coordination, inventory management, and supply chain practices.
  • Familiarity with Veoci and Ariba systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across all levels of the company.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computerized inventory systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Salary Range: $60,500 - $71,000
