Description Job Description The applicant shall join the Leidos Gibbs & Cox Survivability Department as an Electrical Engineer to the naval ship design team located in Washington, D.C. The applicant must work well in a team environment and be willing to learn new skill sets related to Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) as part of the Navy's pursuit of a state-of-the-art ship design. E3 topics include electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), interference (EMI), pulse (EMP) and vulnerability (EMV). The candidate will work under an E3 subject matter expert and help provide technical expertise in the analysis, mitigation, and management of electromagnetic interference for the ship design. This role is responsible for ensuring that shipboard systems meet EMC requirements, while using test and analysis techniques to solve complex EMI challenges. Location: This is a hybrid position that allows for remote work from a home office. However, the selected candidate must be available to work onsite at our Washington, D.C. office at least 2 days per week, or as business needs require. Primary Responsibilities
